About Dr. Ananya Sharma
Dr. Ananya Sharma is a public health physician and founder of Arogya Gramin. Having witnessed the extreme barriers rural families face during medical emergencies, she has spent the last decade building a network of community health workers, tele-medicine booths, and maternal nutrition camps.
The Turning Point & Life Journey
Born and raised in Dehradun, Ananya completed her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College. In 2014, while volunteering during a monsoon relief camp, she met a young mother who had walked 14 kilometers carrying her sick toddler. That turning point led Ananya to dedicate her life to decentralized primary care.
